Lindsay Lohan Takes Court-Mandated New Role: Janitor

Looks like Lindsay Lohan, whose real-life prison drama has been controlling the tabloid scene formerly, will be co-starring with a mop and a bucket in her next role: janitor in a morgue. After being bailed out of Lynwood Correctional Facility in Los Angeles this weekend, it’s improbable that Lindsay will be sent back to the pokey. But as part of her punishment for breaching the terms of her 2007 probation contract, Judge Stephanie Sautner has sentenced her to 480 hours of community service. Lindsay will spend 360 of those hours at the Women’s Center in LA’s Skid Row (yes, it’s actually called Skid Row), and the other 120 at the county coroner’s office, aka the LA morgue. A spokesman for the county coroner’s office said they have community service workers at the facility “all the time” and that they are responsible for cleaning and sweeping up. Maybe she’ll finally find out who killed her!

Lindsay “stickyfingers” Lohan didn’t get off too easy in her shoplifting trial after all – because right after lessening Lindsay’s felony theft charge to a misdemeanor, Judge Stephanie Sautner threw the book at the embattled starlet, sending her to 120 days in jail for her probation violation! Lindsay was taken directly from the courtroom to the Lynwood Correctional Facility in Los Angeles, where she was held for five hours before paying for bail, reported at $75,000. The funny part? That was Lindsay’s alcohol money for the weekend.

It’s certainly been a gigantic week for the world’s most famous redheaded shoplifter, Lindsay Lohan- we’re exhausted just from talking about it! Today the eyes of the celebrity bruit world turned once again on LiLo as she appeared for preliminary hearings in her long-delayed theft trial.

Cameras were not allowed, but TMZ had a reporter embedded in the courtroom, who tweeted this afternoon that Lindsay’s felony shoplifting charges have been lessened to a misdemeanor. The judge noted that Lindsay’s DUI charge was over 4 years ago, and said that the severity of the charges didn’t fit the severity of the crime or Lindsay’s criminal record.
So now, even if she’s convicted, Lindsay won’t have to go back to jail. We’re willing to bet Lindsay “Misdemeanor” Lohan will be getting her freak on in the LA clubs tonight. Just don’t lose control, Lindsay!

In a crazy twist worthy of the silver screen, tabloid regular Lindsay Lohan is back on the cast of the upcoming gangster drama Gotti: Three Generations, barely a day after executive producer Marc Fiore said that discussions were “done.” Lindsay saved herself from being whacked by personally appealing to the producers and agreeing to the terms dismissed by her manager-mother Dina.
But despite the eerie, Portrait of Dorian Grey-ish resemblance between Lindsay and Victoria Gotti (who she was originally going to play), Lindsay has taken a littler role as Kim Gotti, the don’s sexy daughter-in-law. According to rumors, this role is actually “juicier” than Lindsay’s original part, and may even include a hot sex scene.

”I’m really excited to be back on set and clear up all the misinterpretations about me and show this is what I love to do,” Lindsay said when asked about her immediate change of fortune. Considering how damaged her reputation has become, with the producer of her last failed part calling her “uninsurable,” Lindsay is really going to have to step up on this one- she can’t get wasted and fuhgetaboutit!

Lindsay Lohan has lost yet another movie part, reportedly due to the insane demands of her management team (in other words, her mother, Dina). Just a few days ago Marc Fiore, executive producer of the soon-to-be mob movie “Gotti:Three Generations” , was saying about how “perfect” Lindsay was for the role of Victoria Gotti, with Lindsay even posing for red carpet photos with the real world Victoria. But after just 2 days of dealing with Lindsay’s management, Marc has totally altered his mind, claiming he ended discussions because “it just didn’t work for me….I will only ride a merry-go-round with my kids.” Sounds like if Lindsay ever wants to work in Tinseltown again, she needs to send her management ‘team’ on a long walk off a tiny pier, Gotti-style.

Paz De la Huerta went before a judge for 3rd degree assault

Well known au naturel thespian and public drunkenness hobbyist Paz De la Huerta appeared before a judge in a New York City courtroom today, where the D.A. charged her with two counts of 3rd degree assault, 4th degree criminal possession of a weapon, attempted assault, and harassment. Paz’s legal troubles stem from a crazy incident at the Standard Hotel in New York city last month, where Paz got into a glass-breaking, face-punching fight with reality TV actress Samantha Swerta. Paz was visibly ticked off about being prosecuted over the likes of Swerta- allegedly, on the day of her arrest she said to officers that ”I’m a REAL actress ? HBO! She’s a publicity seeker, a FAKE actress.” That is some fighting words!

In a shameless ploy for media attention (which worked- it’s all over the internet), desperate housewife Eva Longoria lived up to the booble by faking a nip slip on the Late Show with David Letterman the other night. Three minutes and twenty seconds into the interview, she exclaimed “My button!” and grabbed at her cleavage as if her breasts fell out of her tailored suit jacket. But it was a scam. Yes, a fake.

Eagle-eyed fans had a very good morning yesterday when Meredith Vieira stood up a little too quickly on Today. Joking around with co-host Matt Lauer, Meredith exclaimed “I’m leaving now!” and uncrossed her legs, flashing her beige panties before standing up and scurrying out of frame.
