But if that's all she's got, she knows how to work it in the Playboy photos.
Kardashian is only partially nude in the released photos, wearing fur and beads to cover most of her private parts. Her makeup and body looking perfect and the photos are tasteful.
Surprisingly, mother Kris encouraged Kim to pose nude for Playboy magazine.
"I thought it was a good idea. I thought that so many iconic women have done Playboy," she said in a recent interview.
"And I thought, you know for [50s sex kitten] Marilyn Monroe... She wanted to do it, too. I mean, I didn't force her to go do Playboy."
"Kim was really upset that the new photos were released," a source close to Kim reportedly said. " She freaked out that they were out there, she didn't think that they were going to be seen again."
But other sources claim Kim is mainly concerned because she isn't making any money from the photos. She signed her rights away when the shoot was done.
For her part, Kim has said she was misquoted when reports claimed she regretted posing in the magazine.
"When I said that comment, I had said...'I'm sorry that I did Playboy then, when I was in the shape that I was in. Not the shape that I'm in now. Because I had lost 15 pounds. ... So it kind of got misconstrued a little bit," she said.
"Kim sets the standard for a new type of celebrity. She may not have arrived in the public eye by conventional means (via a movie, an album or a line of products), but that doesn't stop her from flaunting everything she's got, especially that epic booty of hers!"
Kim won't be too stoked about this, seeing as though going topless for the mag wasn't ever something she wanted to do in the first place!
Shortly after going nude for the magazine, the reality show star confessed she regretted the decision and was pushed into it by her mother Kris Jenner.
"I'm sorry I did Playboy. I was uncomfortable," Kim tells Harper's Bazaar in a new interview where she - ironically - strips down again.
Her mom Kris told her to "go for it," recalls Kim, who also quotes her mom as saying, "They might never ask you again. Our show isn't on the air yet. No one knows who you are. Do it and you'll have these beautiful pictures to look at when you're my age."
Kris was absolutely in love with the idea, because Manager comes before Mother in the dictionary.
Of course the Playboy shoot was filmed for the family reality show 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians'. During the episode Kris even sheds her clothes and takes a steamy photo where she's covered in an American flag. Kris has a lifelong dream of posing for Playboy, so she suggests a mother/daughter issue. Classy.
Shortly after the shoot, on 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' Kris get a phone call from Hugh Hefner, who wants a meeting, and they want Kim to do some reshoots with more nudity. Most of these photos are from Kim's reshoot. Hef insisted on the new shots because he thought she has a great booty. Shake your money maker!
Kim has taken her clothes off numerous times throughout her career and always cries wolf. What do you think of the shots? Can she be taken seriously after these shots? Or should she consider keeping her clothes on?
It appears the National Basketball Association lock-out has claimed its first significant casualty: The fairy-tale marriage - and we mean that in every sense of the phrase - of reality TV star Kim Kardashian and New Jersey Nets power forward Kris Humphries.
If Kris had been playing ball instead of getting on Kim's nerves with his plans to "brand" himself with a publicist, a line of cologne, nightclub appearances for pay and, I don't know, a line of handbags, the marriage might have lasted longer than 72 days it took for her to tire of the unsophisticated hunk.
She's sad. He's shocked.
We can safely say that we are into the twilight zone of marital spin-doctoring when the producer of the reality TV show, which showcased the wedding prep and the ceremony over two nights and four hours in front of millions of viewers, announces on Twitter that the bride has filed papers for divorce.
And when the groom finds out about it on TMZ.
And when the bride's sisters and her mother prove that Twitter is the glue that holds this family together, tweeting their love and support to each other and their fans.
And when Kris Kardashian, takes to the talk shows to promote her new book and explain that her daughter's wedding wasn't a money grab or a publicity stunt.
And when fans of your clothing line - Dash Dolls, as they call themselves - place a call on Craigslist for a candlelight vigil at her retail store in New York City to show their support.
And when other Hollywood celebs dress up as you in your bridal gear for Halloween.
And when a New York Times economics writer takes the opportunity to explain that marriage does have economic benefits for both parties, but those benefits usually take more than a fiscal quarter to accrue. (Rumor has it that the pair made almost $18 million on their wedding, although mother-in-law Kris took pains to rebut that on the "Today Show.")
And when Jay Leno - of course Jay Leno - says he was actually on at 10 p.m. longer than this marriage lasted.
And when everybody wants to know whether this will hurt the Kardashian brand or whether it is more fuel for the Kardashian dysfunction-for-money machine, which brought in something like $65 million last year.
It was only a matter of time until Kris Humphries realized how he looked - like a big, dull lug trapped in a bag with angry cats.
And until Kim realized that she was never going make his rough edges as smooth as step-dad Bruce Jenner's cheekbones so that he would fit the Kardashian husband mould - an empty shell.
I don't want to go all Mean Girl here, but when you launch yourself with a homemade sex tape, as Kim did, sell your naked self to Playboy, allow your control-freak mother to pimp you out, and then try to redeem your belief in the power of love with a three-dress white wedding, you are bound to get chewed up in your own famous-for-being-famous business model.
It seems that happily ever after isn't a guarantee. Even for branded, hybrid person-characters in docusoaps and the products they endorse
Kim Kardashian has published, 'A message to my fans,' where she opens up about filing for divorce from husband Kris Humphries.
Kim admits that she was swept away by the commotion of being in a reality show and seems genuinely sad about her failed marriage.
"I share so much of my life on a reality show, that contemplating whether to even film my wedding was a tough decision to make, and maybe it turned out to not be the smartest decision," she wrote.
Kim also tells her fans that the urge to pop out babies and all that jazz may have led her to marry in a rush...
"Everyone that knows me knows that I'm a hopeless romantic! I love with all of my heart and soul. I want a family and babies and a real life so badly that maybe I rushed in to something too soon. I believed in love and the dream of what I wanted so badly. I felt like I was on a fast roller coaster and couldn't get off when now I know I probably should have."
Kim's 'honest' letter also denies that she's made millions out of her marriage, apologises to all her fans and reveals that she'll be donating the money for all the first to the Dream Foundation, an organisation that grants dreams to adults with a life-limiting illness.
Kris Jenner is spinning faster than a dreidel this week.
The manager of the Kardashian family is making every media round possible in order to maintain the good name of her brand daughter in light of Kim Kardashian's speedy divorce from Kris Humphries.
Jenner - who just happened to release a memoir yesterday - wants the public to stop judging, and to also understand her strange idea of finances.
Kim Kardashian is all about making money with her mouth: first with Ray J, now at a milkshake store in Dubai.
Appearing on The Today Show, Kris did some shady math and claimed Kim and Kris "made some money for the pictures that were sold and things like that, but at the end of the day, that money went towards the wedding."
Ummm... so what? That's still making money. They just chose to spend it on a wedding.
